RiDE 'Find me the right .. Italian Twin'

One more mention of the Caponord in the May 2009 RiDE magazine, in the article 'Bike Chooser : Find me the right.. italian twin'.

There were 5 different price ranges (£2000,£3000,£4000,£5000+,New).
The Caponord appeared under the £3000 section and under the category:

I WANT TO DO SOME MILES : I like to put the miles in, yeah, but that doesn't mean I'm a pipe-and-slippers kind of guy. Why not have style and character as well as long-distance capability? I don't need a bike so massive that I may as well be in the Caravan Club - I don't want to take everything I own on a camping trip round the world, I just want to be able to nip off with enough clobber for the weekend, or do longer trips on a hotel and credit card basis.

The actual description for the caponord which was in the same category with 2001 Aprilia Futura, 2006 Ducati Multistrada 1000 DS, 2005 Ducati ST4S and Motto Guzzi Norge 1200T, was:

2005 Aprilia Caponord: 998c, 60 V-twin, 97bhp, 72lb.ft, 215kg, 25 litre tank, ins grp 13, service interval 8000 miles (note: this should be 4500) - Good looking, quick and capable, let down by over-soft suspension on standard settings. Raise the rear to improve the steering. Don't buy a tatty one. Price range: £1880-3065
